


SHOWBIZ VETS BRING CARRIBEAN FLAVOR TO USA
(Comedians Marley and Hodge bring The Jamaican and The Virgin Caribbean Comedy Tour to Several US cities this summer and fall 2011.) Star comics Sardia Marley and Jeff Hodge, aka, The Jamaican and The Virgin, headline The Jamaican and The Virgin Caribbean Comedy Tour at several venues in different American cities in 2011. Show times usually begins at 8 pm. Tickets generally cost $25 in advance; $30 at the door.
Wowing audiences for over ten years, Marley has also been seen on Comedy Central Last Comic Standing and Comics Unleashed amongst other projects. Hodge, a graduate of Houston’s James Madison Senior High School, owns and operates production banner Yeah Mon Entertainment and has credits ranging from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the Jamie Foxx Show to performing for the Troops in The Middle East. Local area comics normally fill out the remainder of the bill.
The Jamaican and The Virgin Caribbean Comedy Tour focuses on the Caribbean heritage of Jeff Hodge - originally from The Virgin Islands and Sardia Marley - originally fromJamaica.
A local DJ is normally onsite playing island tunes (soca, calypso, reggae, and dancehall) throughout the night. A dance usually takes place after the comedians are finished performing.
